Dr. Leigh Vinocur is a board-certified emergency physician, with a master’s degree in medical cannabis science and therapeutics. Founder and chief medical officer of Ananda Medical Practice and Consulting. She is focused on providing the most up-to-date, evidence-based strategies and educational programs on medical cannabis science and therapeutics for patients and industry.
She is a media-savvy, national medical contributor and speaker. She is a regular contributor to the Hearst publication GreenState, where she has an “Ask Dr. Leigh” column answering their readers medical cannabis questions. She co-hosts a medical cannabis podcast for clinicians on RadioMD, called Cannabis Grand Rounds. Additionally, has been appearing regularly on national media outlets, such as NewsNation Now, the Today Show, Cable News Network (CNN), the Fox News Channel (FNC) and the Dr. Oz Show.
She is a member of the Society of Cannabis Clinicians, Doctors for Cannabis Regulation, and Americans for Safe Access.
