Lauren Palmier, PharmD, MS

I am a Doctor of Pharmacy with 9 years of pharmacist experience, 8 of which are in management of a high-volume retail pharmacy. I am motivated and driven to ensure patient safety and satisfaction in any given setting. My passion for patient safety compelled me to complete my Master’s of Science in medical cannabis at the University of Maryland in May of 2021. I am passionate about teaching the science, therapeutics and history of medical cannabis to both pharmacy students and individuals in industry. I have created training materials for dispensary associates teaching the pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of medical cannabis, among other topics, and I am a guest lecturer at the University of Health Science and Pharmacy in St. Louis, where I teach pharmacy students about medical cannabis. Additionally, I have created a lecture titled “Medical Cannabis for Pharmacists” that has been accredited by ACPE to provide continuing education credits to pharmacists.
